This week’s eShop lineup for the Nintendo Switch has a little something for everyone. Whether you’re a fan of classic SNES games or on the lookout for fresh releases, there’s plenty to keep gamers entertained. Plus, the Nintendo Music app is getting some new tracks, and there are enticing deals to explore.

Let’s dive into the updates for the Switch Online collection, which is growing thanks to four new SNES era titles from the talented developers at Koei. Up first, we have "Nobunaga’s Ambition" and "Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness," both originating from the early ’90s. These titles transport you to Japan’s Sengoku period, where unifying the regions through battle is your mission.

Another exciting addition is "Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV Wall of Fire," a strategic game inspired by the iconic novel set in ancient China, released in 1994. This turn-based game invites players to engage with the historical complexities of the Three Kingdoms era.

Lastly, there’s "Uncharted Waters: New Horizons," a game that lets you live out your dreams of exploration on the high seas. Released in 1993, this title combines trading and sailing, taking you on an adventurous journey across Europe.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Music app isn’t taking a backseat. This week, it’s adding a selection of tunes from "Kirby and the Forgotten Land." Although only 23 tracks are available now, who knows when the rest might make their appearance?

And let’s not forget about the host of fresh titles coming to the eShop. Among them, "Which Way Up: Galaxy Games" is generating buzz. In fact, we recently chatted with Turtle Flip Studio, the game’s developer, on our podcast. You won’t want to miss our deep dive review soon.

So, there you have it—a busy week packed with gaming goodness on the eShop! Are you curious about any of these titles? We’re eager to hear what you’ll be playing!

Now, let’s talk about some specifics for Nintendo Switch Online (SNES):

NOBUNAGA’S AMBITION – This game immerses you in Japan’s turbulent Sengoku period, where as a feudal lord, your ambition is to conquer and unite. Will your strategy lean on military might, clever diplomacy, economic stealth, or maybe even a ninja’s touch? It’s available from March 28 to those with a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Fun fact, this one supports eight players with just a single Joy-Con.

NOBUNAGA’S AMBITION: Lord of Darkness – The fourth installment of this series takes you deeper into the political and military drama of unifying 48 feudal states in Japan. Released for the SNES in 1994, this game lets you expand your power through cultural and technological advancements. Want to hold a tea ceremony to boost your generals’ smarts or produce cutting-edge rifles and warships? You’re in luck—all those strategic layers add to the excitement. And yes, from March 28, this also joins the lineup for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV Wall of Fire – Set during the chaotic fall of the Han Dynasty, this game places you in the heat of the Three Kingdoms era. As a leader, you must navigate political turmoil and warfare, using all your cunning and strength to unify China amidst the chaos. Watch out for challenging negotiations and don’t underestimate the value of a robust economy and happy populace. Available on March 28 for Nintendo Switch Online members.

Uncharted Waters: New Horizons – Travel back to the Age of Discovery with this seafaring adventure. Pick from six distinct characters and embark on a quest to uncover treasures and new lands. Whether you’re trading goods or dueling rival captains, the open seas are your playground. Get ready to set sail on March 28 with your Switch Online membership.

On to Nintendo Music:

A New and Noteworthy World – Kirby’s back with 23 tunes from "Kirby and the Forgotten Land," now playable on the Nintendo Music app. Whether your journey is through "Northeast Frost Street" or "Moonlight Canyon," these tracks will accompany you. And don’t worry, more Kirby tracks are on their way by year’s end.

If you’re looking for bargains, check out the Nintendo eShop sales, where there’s always something new to discover.
