Man, so Intel’s not throwing in the towel on this Battlemage thing just yet. They’ve got another one up their sleeve—sounds like they’re aiming to shake things up in the GPU scene. Or maybe not. Who knows?
### Intel’s Arc B770 GPU Rumor Mill: Could Hit Shelves Next Quarter
Now, I gotta say, Intel’s not exactly sprinting in the GPU race compared to AMD and NVIDIA—more like a leisurely jog. Back in Q4 2024, they dropped those mid-tier Battlemage GPUs, the Arc B570 and B580. Not too shabby at the time, I guess. But now with AMD’s RX 9060 and NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 coming in hot, Intel’s kinda, um, lagging? But hang on, Japanese media, Gazlog, is spilling some tea about Intel cooking up something new—the Arc Battlemage B770. Apparently, it’s based on this “BMG-G31” silicon. Why, you ask? No clue, but it sounds fancy enough.
So these shipping documents—a few weeks old now—mention this BMG-G31 silicon being sent over to Intel’s Vietnam digs. That’s where they churn out the Limited Edition GPUs or something. Seems like the Arc B770 might be the next on the assembly line. Intel’s Vietnam team handles these things, so yeah, maybe we’ll see it soon-ish. Supposedly, this BMG-G31’s for the high-end GPUs. And with the B5XX series being kinda done, this next move would make sense. Well, at least it does in my head—maybe?
Oh, and did you catch that pic? (It’s a whole techy vibe—props to OneRaichu for spilling more beans on the Arc B770!)
So yeah, this OneRaichu dude—who seems to always have the inside scoop—says we’ll see this model someday. Folks are kinda excited about the Battlemage lineup, I guess. They’re whispering about 24-32 Xe2 cores, 256-bit memory bus, and 16 gigs of GDDR6 flaunting around. But don’t hold your breath—could be used for AI stuff too. So, it’s all up in the air.
Computex 2025’s just around the corner—I’d bet they’ll have something to announce there. And hey, I’ll be keeping an eye out on the ground. Intel might throw a curveball with their new Battlemage dGPU. But till then, we wait. Fun times, right?
