April Content Roadmap Unveiled for Dead by Daylight

Behaviour Interactive has just released its content roadmap for Dead by Daylight in April 2025, bringing fresh excitement to this ever-popular asymmetrical horror game. Since its 2016 debut, the game has captivated an audience of over 60 million players across various platforms. A big part of its allure lies in the intriguing crossovers it has hosted over the years, featuring iconic killers from franchises like Stranger Things, Silent Hill, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This latest roadmap teases some exciting events lined up for April.

One of the highlights is the thrilling new crossover with Tokyo Ghoul, which started on April 2. This update introduces Ken Kaneki, known as The Ghoul, to the lineup of killers. On the flip side, survivors can enjoy a selection of costumes inspired by the anime series. Additionally, the Blood Moon event is making a comeback from April 7 to April 29, offering daily login bonuses and other exciting activities throughout the month.

April 12 will see a unique in-person gathering as Behaviour hosts a Dead by Daylight event at Horrorcon in Scotland. Then, gamers can gear up for the next Player Test Build (PTB) launching on April 15, though details are still under wraps. Towards the end of the month, players can dive into a new Techwear collection and the Fragment Frenzy mini-event slated for April 22.

While the roadmap is filled with thrilling prospects, it does come with some bittersweet news. The Hellraiser chapter, featuring the much-loved Cenobite or Pinhead, is being removed due to likely licensing troubles. However, fans who already unlocked this character can continue to play as the beloved horror figure, although the accompanying chapter is no longer accessible.

April promises a lot for Dead by Daylight fans, especially with the much-anticipated return of last year’s Blood Moon event. The success of the Tokyo Ghoul crossover could potentially open doors for more anime-inspired content in the future, possibly expanding the universe of killers in the game.
