Star Overdrive Featured in This Week’s eShop Highlights

What’s new on the Nintendo Switch eShop this week? While we eagerly count down to the release of the Switch 2—just about seven weeks to go—the Switch continues to get loaded with a plethora of fresh titles. Leading the pack this week is the action-adventure game, Star Overdrive.

In Star Overdrive, you’ll find yourself zooming across an alien world on a hoverboard, solving puzzles and battling foes. The game is the brainchild of indie studio Caracal Games, an enthusiastic team of 12. It’s not their first foray into the eShop, but Star Overdrive has the distinction of being featured in a Nintendo Direct for the first time. Published by Plug In Digital, who last year released the intriguing Mindcop, Star Overdrive combines fast-paced action with platforming in a third-person adventure that looks set to impress.
