Wildgate Community Preview — oh boy, it’s coming to Xbox Insiders! Yep, if you’ve got an Xbox Series X|S, you’re in for a treat. Crazy spaceship battles and, let me tell you, it’s starting May 9 at 9:00 AM PDT. I mean, what’s not to like? You can still get in, so if space and chaos are your things, jump on it already. And hey, who doesn’t love a little artifact hunting, right?

Okay, key features, let’s get into it:

Epic Spaceship Battles… right? Big guns, wild gadgets — totally my thing, though I have no idea why I love space chaos so much. Trick your enemies, or whatever, unless they do you in first. Perfect plans can just zip out the window, and then… just wing it. Seriously, who even plans anymore? I kinda love it.

And every match is something else. Navigate this thing called the Reach. Sounds big, possibly endless? Procedurally-generated, so it’s all different every time, like, no kidding! You gotta outrace other players or you leave with nada. More fun that way, maybe.

There’s this whole thing about Unique Prospectors — apparently, they’ve all got unique skills and stuff. Like, imagine picking between a daring pilot and some mischievous trickster. Space crimes? Yep, that’s your jam.

Oh, The Reach — gotta talk about that. It’s not just vast, it’s dangerous. Cosmic storms — is that even a thing? Vermin in space… hmm, okay. And treasures! Seriously, who wouldn’t dream about alien loot stashes? I’d be all over that.

Artifacts! Now, these are the Holy Grail, the big cheese of outer space. Find it, grab it, and vamoose before others catch you. Or you know, just smash everyone else’s ships to bits if you feel feisty. Last crew standing, they say.

Playtest Times — don’t forget! Starts on a Friday, May 9 (mark it, or don’t, it’s up to you). Goes all the way to Monday, May 12. Plan your life around it maybe?
