Alright, here we go. Imagine stumbling upon this quirky game, “Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping”. Crazy, right? Coming next week to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, May 22. Why am I excited? No clue. But it sounds intriguing.
So picture this: a luxury campsite gets all spooky, and who they gonna call? Nope, not Ghostbusters. Enter Duck Detective! Yeah, seriously.
THIS GAME IS SHORT!! Like, really short. But hey, less time means less room for me to mess up. Anyway, that detective duck, he’s back. And what a character! He’s got to quiz folks, dig up the dirt, and somehow work his way to the truth again.
Oh, and “Bread Red Redemption”. Now that’s a title! No idea what’s haunting Eugene McQuacklin more – the ghosts or his bread problems. I mean, isn’t that relatable? Sort of.
Guess what, Mr. Duck’s got a sidekick now. Can’t tell if he’s thrilled or annoyed, but they’re solving stuff together now. It’s all about crumbs of justice or something like that. Sounds fun, right?
Now onto the zany features! Got 2-3 hours? Perfect amount of time to cozy up with this mystery. Stand-alone sequel too. Yep, following “The Secret Salami”. Ah, those titles crack me up!
Interviewing suspects, gathering clues, all very detective-y. Fully voice-acted too. Characters with who knows what secrets. Can’t wait to dive into this pond of mystery. Murky waters indeed.
Justice served with a side of bread, apparently. Throwing it to some fine beaky lady.
And the art, or images, whatever you call them: full of ducks doing detective stuff. Yep. Sounds just like something I’d get lost in. Well, until something else distracts me.
So, there you have it. A game with a duck in a hat solving mysteries. Wild right?
Okay, I’m spent. Go check it out, or don’t. Who am I to decide?
