I’m checking out this new thing, the VMP SMG. I mean, it’s like a solid choice if you wanna keep those pesky enemies away. It’s got this fast shooting thing going on, holds a bunch of bullets, and yeah, the recoil’s kinda manageable—most of the time. Oh, and they’ve got this cool new skin for the Combat Axe. Why anyone would focus on a throwable, no clue, but you know, it looks nice. Plus, you can score all kinds of other goodies like skins, blueprints, and Vault Coins. Whatever those are.
So then there’s this Premium Pass deal. I probably shouldn’t get into it, but it’s tempting. It’s all primal or something—Gustavo, Lazarus, American Bulldog, Kitsune… the names alone are wild. I guess these dudes hunt stuff with their fancy weapon blueprints. Koshka, Hades, ASM10, LW3-Tundra—it’s like a whole arsenal. And that VMP, uh, Stun Slash? Based on the latest Season 5 thingy, apparently.
Wait, okay, so there’s this Battle Pass Subscription too. Join the Ground Forces, they say. Extra rewards every month, a little XP boost, and discounts. Although, I’m not sure I need 10 crates of anything, but hey, maybe someone does. Season 5’s giving out this Baker — Cobra Hunter skin, a snazzy MSMC — Snake blueprint, and some snake-themed backpack. Seriously, snake theme, anyone?
Then we’ve got the Season 5 Challenge Pass & Secret Caches. Complete some missions and you’re showered with goodies. Tokens to snag stuff in the Exchange, like more reskins—like that Smoke Grenade. There’s this epic Bathysphere — Killer Whale skin, and camo crates. Oh, and secret caches, too. Apparently, they’ve updated those. This AK-47 — ICB Rifle or something. I barely know what it means, but sure, it sounds intense.
So, mythic shards? Universal ones, even. I guess if you’ve done the Mythic AK117, you can jump onto the next mythic booty, right? Anyway—wait, I lost my place. Oh yeah, check out the game’s Events tab. Missions, rewards, the whole shebang. Maybe I’ll poke around the Mission Board when I’m not distracted by… oh, look, something shiny!
And there’s a Store Update: Mythic VMP, NieR Automata. Yep, just throwing that in there.
