Alright, so here’s the thing. I’ve been wandering the virtual aisles of the PS Store, and guess what? Another sale bonanza. Yeah, they’ve got those Marvel games everyone’s been yammering about. I’m not usually one to jump at these digital deals, but something caught my eye.
Oh, Lego Marvel, let’s talk about it—or maybe we shouldn’t—but here we are, deep diving anyway. Right now, it’s like, almost free. Well, $8.99 if you wanna get precise, but who’s counting? From some big $59.99, now don’t do the math in front of me—yikes. Anyway, the catch (there’s always one, right?): it’s here today, gone tomorrow—by the fifth of June at an odd 2:59 a.m. ET. Who decides these times?
You’ve got three games packed in here: Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Marvel’s Avengers, and the sequel we needed (or not?) Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. Plus, all the season pass jazz. It’s like a buffet you didn’t know you were hungry for.
Okay, so dig this: In Lego Marvel Super Heroes, you’re wrangling heroes to throw down with Loki. Yes, the Loki. Tried saving the world lately? No pressure. Then we’ve got Lego Marvel’s Avengers dipping into the cinematic universe—let’s admit it, we all want to play out our superhero dreams sometimes.
And then there’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. All the eras, reality-shift chaos, and battle against—wait for it—Kang the Conqueror. Sounds intense, huh?
These games dropped in 2013, 2016, and 2017, for the trivia buffs. Reviews were, um, kinda nice. The nostalgic first one got an 80 on Metacritic, whatever that really means when you’re knee-deep in nostalgia and blocky fun. The others hit 71 and 73. Decent scores, if you care about that stuff.
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled for more PS4 and PS5 deals…or not. You do you.
