Combat Waffle, the studio behind Ghosts of Tabor, is gearing up to release their latest VR shooter, Silent North. This game promises an action-packed multiplayer zombie survival experience, with launches on Quest and Steam Early Access expected sometime in March.
Published by Beyond Frames Entertainment, Silent North transports you to the breathtaking heights of the Swiss Alps. It’s a world overrun by zombies and hostile survivors who take every opportunity for a kill and some loot — just as you might. In this unpredictable environment, you can choose to team up with others or brave the challenges solo while hunting for gear and fending off an endless wave of the undead.
The game is rich with PVPVE action, where encounters with both players and the infected are inevitable. No matter where you are—be it the mountains or the open plains—you’ll face heart-pounding battles for survival. These skirmishes demand not only quick reflexes but also strategic thinking, as danger might be lurking in the form of hidden enemies waiting for the perfect moment to attack.
Silent North is now available for pre-order on the Horizon Store at an enticing price of $17, marking a 15% discount off its standard $20 release price. Eager gamers can also add it to their wishlist on Steam today, ensuring they’ll receive a similar discount at launch.
Although the game is entering early access on both Steam and the Horizon Store in March, details about its release on other VR platforms like PSVR 2 and Pico headsets remain under wraps.
To clear any confusion, the studio recently updated us on February 21st, 2024, confirming the March release window but acknowledging that an exact launch date is still pending.
