Sure, let’s dive in. So, there’s this wild thing happening with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 — it’s getting a dinosaur twist. Jurassic World: Archipelago is the name, and yep, expect to see dino-filled islands popping up in the game. Coming around late August or early September. Weird, right?
I mean, who thought flying a plane and seeing a T-Rex could mix? Orbx Studios did, apparently. These folks are known for jazzing up flight sims. Now they’re teaming up with Universal to plop Isla Nublar and the Muertes Archipelago into the simulator. That’s six airstrips, twelve helipads, and a lineup of dinos like Velociraptors (not the friendly kind, I’d bet). Oh, and they tweaked some scenery in Costa Rica too. Random, but interesting.
Anyway, this is supposed to attract more people to the game. Imagine being a flight sim fan then suddenly dodging a Brachiosaurus while landing? Could be a thrill. Or a disaster. Who knows.
Oh, and while we’re on the Jurassic train, there’s a new game, Jurassic World Evolution 3, dropping October 21. Something for the strategists out there on PC and consoles.
And wait, rumors flying around (pun intended) about Flight Simulator 2024 showing up on PS5. Maybe not official, but worth keeping an ear out. If it happens, I’ll probably be that guy crashing into mountains, too distracted by a Stegosaurus wandering by. Classic me, right?
