It’s time to dive into the wild chaos of high-stakes extraction and some, honestly, epic Warfare. Oh, and it’s all happening on Xbox Series X|S, so grab your controller and hop into the Xbox Insider Playtest. Don’t ask why, just do it.
## About the Game, Kinda:
Okay, so Delta Force. It’s not just another game; it’s THE game, or at least that’s what they say. Coming to consoles on August 19, because why not make summer crazier? It’s this big, free-for-everyone, team-based tactical shooter. If you’ve been alive the last 25 years, you know Delta Force, with its three, yes three, game modes: multiplayer mayhem (Warfare), some next-gen extraction thing called Operations, and the good ol’ PvE campaign, aka Black Hawk Down. Nostalgia attack, anyone?
## 3 Experiences, Maybe?
Let’s break it down. Warfare is your 32 Vs. 32 madness. Operations? Think next-gen, whatever that means. And then there’s the Black Hawk Down mode. It’s all cinematic and campaign-y. Anyway, it’s like three games squished into one. My brain’s already tired.
## 1 Account Covers It, I Guess:
Wanna play everywhere? Congrats, you can. Console, PC, mobile – it’s a party. Cross-play’s in there too.
## Oh, and It’s Free:
Three modes, ten-plus operators (not sure why so many), over ten maps. You gotta love rewards. All for the low price of… nothing. I mean, why charge?
## Playtest Chaos:
When’s this happening? So, it starts July 16 at 6 PM PT and ends on July 20 at the same time. Time zones are weird, right? Basically, play until they kick you out.
## Wanna Join the Madness?
Here’s the thing. Sign in on your Xbox Series X|S (duh) and launch that Xbox Insider Hub app. If you don’t have it, install it – obviously.
– Head over to Previews > Delta Force BETA
– Hit ‘Join’ and wait
– You’ll get to the Store, then boom, install Delta Force Beta
