Survios just dropped the news that they’re revamping Alien: Rogue Incursion into something they’re calling an ‘Evolved Edition’ for PC and PS5. Yeah, it’s going flatscreen. Curious, right?
Originally, this thing hit PSVR 2 and PC VR players last year, then made its way to the Quest 3 in 2025. Reviews were all over the place at first. But after some tweaks—mostly to those creepy Xenomorphs and their attack habits—people started enjoying it a bit more.
Anyway, now they’re saying this new version for PC and PS5 isn’t just a port. It’s, like, totally reimagined or something. Supposedly, it’s set to launch on September 30, 2025, hitting up Steam and the PlayStation Store.
The game’s all about Zula Hendricks. She’s this former Colonial Marine poking her nose into Weyland-Yutani’s shady dealings. You’re teaming up with a synth called Davis 01—the duo heads to some planet named Purdan. Think stealth missions and major firepower as you sneak through a Xenomorph-filled research center. Sounds intense, right?
Oh, and they’re planning this as a two-parter. Wondering when we’ll see Part Two? Join the club. No word yet if they’ll split the VR and non-VR releases again or mash them into one thing.
Survios is no stranger to turning VR into flatscreen. Remember in 2021 when they did that with Big Rumble Boxing? Transformed the Creed: Rise to Glory VR boxer into an arcade fighter. Who knows if it’ll work the same magic this time, but hey, it’s Survios. They love mixing things up.
