Created by the imaginative minds at CJG Studio, Pixel Arcade invites players into a neon-drenched world of VR parkour. Here, your mission is to vault across challenging terrains, aiming for the top spots on a global leaderboard. As you leap from platform to platform, be on the lookout for obstacles like lasers and bounce pads, each one posing a threat to your meticulously planned path.
The game offers ten distinct levels, each presenting its own set of spatial puzzles to conquer. As you progress through these vibrant environments, you’ll have the opportunity to secure checkpoints, ensuring that your hard-earned progress is safe.
Pixel Arcade builds upon the foundation laid by CJG Studio’s earlier work, Pixel Arcade Legacy. Released in 2016, the original title featured similar pixelated challenges and checkpoint mechanics. This latest iteration not only expands on the original’s gameplay but also introduces a refreshed visual experience and new levels for players to navigate.
Though multiplayer features won’t be available immediately, CJG Studio hints at exciting future additions. Updates will roll out over time, bringing seasonal content and much-anticipated multiplayer capabilities.
Originally launched in Steam Early Access, Pixel Arcade hits Quest today, promising to captivate VR enthusiasts anew. A trailer also teases a forthcoming release for PlayStation VR2, promising even more players a chance to experience its dynamic gameplay soon.
