XSEED Games, TooKyo Games, and Media Vision have just dropped an exciting new trailer for "The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy," which is making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Get ready for a thrilling dive into the world of the Special Defense Unit, a group of twelve intriguing characters who are on a mission to keep their school safe for 100 challenging days.

Let’s meet the team:

• Takumi Sumino, aka "Everyman" – At the heart of this story is Takumi, your average high school student from an ordinary family. Though he might come off as indecisive and a bit pessimistic, he transforms into a fierce protector when something dear is on the line.

• Eito Aotsuki, the "Voice of Reason" – Eito is Takumi’s closest confidant. He’s incredibly caring and open about his emotions, no matter how cheesy it sounds. Despite his lifelong health struggles, Eito’s sharp mind might be the guiding force the team desperately needs.

• Darumi Amemiya, the "Manic Emo Dream Girl" – Known for her love of all things gloomy, Darumi craves the thrill of life-and-death games and holds an unyielding interest in dramatiGic exits.

• Ima Tsukumo, the "Twin – Big Brother" – Ima, the elder twin by mere minutes, is a jokester hiding a darker mission beneath his humor: ensuring his sister Kako’s safety at all costs.

• Kako Tsukumo, the "Twin – Little Sister" – Kako’s excitable curiosity makes her dream of becoming a detective. Her penchant for mysteries complements her propensity to daydream.

• Kurara Oosuzuki, the "Rich Girl Among Rich Girls" – Kurara oozes wealth and privilege, often coming across as haughty. Her trademark tomato mask keeps her real identity hidden.

• Yugamu Omokage, the "Teenage Assassin" – Yugamu is not new to the art of killing, drawn to it with a twisted sense of affection. His proficiency and peculiar family tradition make him a valuable, if unsettling, ally.

• Kyoshika Magadori, the "Ninja Samurai" – Being oblivious to modern-nowance, she has a peculiar bond with her katana, the Holy Jumonji Sword, often prioritizing it over current matters.

• Gaku Maruko, the "Self-Centered Mood Maker" – Gaku wears selfishness as a second skin, with behavior so blatantly self-serving it’s almost endearing. Yet, once you break through his barriers, he’s surprisingly caring.

• Tsubasa Kawana, the "Star Mechanic" – Bright and spirited, Tsubasa is a whiz with machines but falters under pressure, leading her to dizzying spells of nausea.

• Hiruko Shizuhara, the "Ice Queen" – The calculated and aloof leader of the Special Defense Unit. Hiruko does not hold her tongue, often alienating others with her blunt honesty. Her ruthless approach on the battlefield only amplifies her icy reputation.

• Sirei, the Commanding Officer – This quirky, robot-like principal of the Last Defense Academy is not just a figurehead but the one orchestrating the moves of the Special Defense Unit, challenging them to fend off the mysterious invaders.

"The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy" marks an exciting collaboration between the creators of the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series, Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi. Together, they’ve crafted a gripping narrative centered on Takumi Sumino. His ordinary life in the Tokyo Residential Complex turns upside down with the attack of a mysterious foe.

As Takumi taps into his newfound power, Hemoanima, courtesy of a cryptic entity named SIREI, he’s plunged into a life-and-death scenario that forces him to transfer to the Last Defense Academy. Here, he joins fifteen other students on a mission given by SIREI: protect the school for 100 days against formidable School Invaders to save humanity’s future.
