Oh man, Meta’s at it again. You know, they just dropped some fresh AI stuff for their Horizon Worlds desktop editor — trying to make the whole metaverse-building gig a bit smoother. Or at least, that’s what they’re saying.
So, get this: they’ve got these two shiny new tools — Creator Assistant and Style Reference. I read about it in some blog post, which I probably bookmarked. Who knows. Anyway, they claim these are gonna make creating worlds less of a headache.
Now, Creator Assistant is like having a sidekick. Picture a really smart, not-at-all annoying Clippy from the old Microsoft days. You remember him? Yeah, so this thing’s all about giving you hints and even dreaming up scripts with just your words. Kinda wild, right?
And there was this picture, I think, showing something futuristic — but, meh, don’t quote me.
Meta’s all jazzed about how Creator Assistant supposedly cuts down on all the fiddly bits of making stuff in Horizon Worlds. So maybe if you’re a one-person show or a small posse, you can spend more time being creative and less time pulling your hair out.
Oh, and Style Reference? It lets you play with styles — like, you can save how things look and sound and then just sprinkle that magic all over your projects. Makes it sound like you can act like a mad scientist with art and sound. Not a bad gig if you ask me.
And, yeah, they’re rolling this out all over the place now. India, Singapore, Brazil — even the EU. These places are getting the tools in their hands, which, honestly, could be interesting to see what comes out of it.
A few other nifty AI-powered things are sprinkled in too — stuff like 3D mesh and creating skies and sounds. There’s probably some guide about all the nooks and crannies of these tools. But, yeah, that’s the gist. Meta’s definitely cooking up something; whether it’s good or not, we’ll just have to wait and see.
