Wow, okay, so this week – surprise! – Elden Ring Nightreign dropped an update outta nowhere. Didn’t see it coming. No downtime, though, so you can jump right in. Just, you know, update first if you wanna connect with other players.
So, Update 1.01.4 rolled out, following that last one in June. Weirdly close together, right? Anyway, all fixes seem pretty relevant, perfect for your typical player, I guess.
Right now, everywhere you look, boom, there it is — Update 1.01.4. The one frickin’ new thing is adding weapon type info to the Armament menu. So, now, just a glance—bam, you know what you’re dealing with. Handy, right?
Most patch notes are just bug fixes. A few bugs were like ticking time bombs. Like that one where if both teammates joined and left simultaneously, bye-bye matchmaking. Fun times, eh? That’s all fixed, thank goodness.
Oh, and if your gestures went missing—or achievements, heaven forbid—you get to redo the requirements. Yay? Also, maybe they slipped in changes cuz the Sentient Pest Nightlord is making a big debut as the next Everdark dude—happening tomorrow, July 3. Hope you’re ready!
If you missed it, Nightreign stepped up its game with fiercer Nightlords. These Everdark Sovereign bosses are tough cookies, reserved for those who beat the standard versions. Crazy.
Everdark Sovereign Gaping Jaws and Darkdrift Knight tossed in new attacks to mess with veterans. Just when we thought we’d mastered it, right? Classic game move.
Right, so here’s a peek at what changed with update 1.01.4:
– Weapon Type now visible in Armament Info. Nice touch.
– Matchmaking bug sorted, no more being stuck forever if pals bail.
– “It’s Raining!” gesture issue fixed. Third time’s a charm, maybe.
– Fixed near-death revival glitch during boss fights. Finally.
– Background music in Recluse Remembrance should play nice now.
– Achievement bug in “Shifting Earth: Crater” sorted. But uh, redo the clear, pretty please?
– A bunch of other bug fixes, so fingers crossed.
