Hey, have you ever heard of COLD VR? It’s like this game that was sort of inspired by Superhot. You know, that trippy shooter where you move and time speeds up? Well, scratch that. COLD VR’s got its own groove — when you move, time actually slows down. Yeah, it’s weird but in a good way. Makes you think on your feet—or in your headset? Whatever, you get the point.
So, here’s the deal: this game hit the scene back in February, and now it’s getting, drumroll please, an update. June 2nd, mark it down. It’s like a buffet of new goodies — five new levels, fancy stuff for Quest and PC VR versions.
And guess what? ALLWARE, the wizards behind the scenes, are jazzing up the main campaign. Better AI, they say. Not the creepy kind, just smarter, I hope. Oh, and those Backroom levels? Totally optional now.
The intro and Main Menu—man, don’t you just hate slow intros?—they’re getting a facelift. Jump into the action faster. About time, right?
What else? So much. New ways to catch weapons, fancy visuals, and room-scale movement. Oh, and your bHaptics vest? Yeah, that’s in the mix too. Feel the vibes, literally. And folks are still waiting on the PSVR 2 version… but it’s coming, they promise.
In the meanwhile, you can snag COLD VR on the Horizon Store if you’re rocking a Quest 2 or above. Or hit up Steam if you’re more of a PC VR kinda person. Twenty bucks. Not bad, right?
Anyway, I got sidetracked… or maybe not. Just go check it out, if you want.
