Survios Confirms Development Underway for ‘Part 2’

Alien: Rogue Incursion hits the gaming scene today, making its debut on PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets. Fans using Quest will have to wait until February next year to dive into this Xenomorph-infested horror shooter. In an exciting development, Survios, the creative minds behind the game, have already rolled up their sleeves for ‘Part Two.’

In our in-depth review of Part One, we awarded the game a respectable 7 out of 10. The game shines with its captivating atmosphere and gripping story, though the repetitive enemy encounters and challenging save mechanics slightly held it back.

Drawing you into about eight hours of intense gameplay, Part One stands strong on its own, delivering a thrilling Xenomorph experience with a compelling narrative arc. However, the ending leaves you eager for Part Two, where the action is bound to escalate.

Details on what’s coming next remain under wraps, but hints suggest we’ll encounter fresh elements beyond the familiar hordes of Xenomorphs. Survios teases us with promises that Zula’s journey will continue, confronting her with fiercer foes and tougher obstacles. Development for this next chapter is already underway.

But before that, the first priority is to launch Part One on Quest, exclusively for Quest 3 and 3S, on February 13th, 2025. Adapting its dynamic levels, detailed visuals, and physics-based gameplay to the mobile chipset of Quest 3 isn’t a simple feat. This complexity likely explains the delay in the Quest release.

With the core systems of Part One already established, we hope the sequel will follow swiftly. Zula Hendricks will be back, possibly for her final showdown, as she battles to obliterate every last Xenomorph on that rogue science station.
