VR Shooter ‘Forefront’ Launches Open Alpha Featuring 16 vs. 16 Multiplayer Battles

I’m staring at this game called Forefront, right? Like what even is it? A Battlefield wannabe but in VR. Somehow, it promises these epic 16 vs. 16 throwdowns — all chaotic and full of energy — in these massive spaces. Oh, with vehicles too. Imagine tanks and helicopters on top of your headset action. It’s all coming to Quest and Steam by the way. They just sort of dropped this alpha version out of nowhere. Bam, surprise! They want players to jump in, give feedback, break stuff. The usual.

Now, Triangle Factory — yeah, those folks behind Breachers — they’re the brains here. If you’ve played Breachers, you’d know their gunplay feels kind of… crispy? Or is that just me? They usually nail it with gadgets too. Anyway, they’re upping the ante from the usual VR skirmish. I mean, most VR shooters max out at like 4 vs. 4, maybe 8 vs. 8 if you’re lucky. But here? It’s a full-scale battle situation. Like, whoa.
