Okay, so picture this: The big Honkai: Star Rail show, version 3.4. It happened today. Or maybe yesterday? Time is weird. Anyway, folks like me have been buzzing about this, especially since everyone wants to know about the new characters. Yep, they revealed them. Surprise, not surprise.
But, the real headline that’s got me all excited (and maybe a bit too caffeinated) is the Fate/stay night collab event. Been waiting on this since like… August last year? That’s when they first told us something was cooking between Honkai: Star Rail and Fate/stay night, notoriously famous fantasy novel or something. It took a while, but hey, ten months? Not bad.
Moving on, we’ve got new characters, of course. Enter Saber and Archer, direct from the Fate universe. Saber’s got this 5-Star Wind/Destruction thing going on, and she’ll have her own banner. Fancy, huh? Archer is more of a Quantum/Hunt kind of guy—available for free if you just log in during the collab. That’s a game-changer, right? Saber’s around until the end of Version 3.6 (I think that’s November? Dates are hard).
Oh, and there’s this other dude, Phainon. Kind of a big deal since Version 3.0. Now he’s playable. Been hanging out on Amphoreus, and lemme tell ya, it’s about time. He uses Physical/Destruction, whatever that means. Anyway, he and the collab crew will all drop in Phase 1.
Speaking of which, there are six rerun banners, too. (Yes, six!) Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle headline Phase 1. Then there’s Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade in Phase 2. It’s a jam-packed line-up. Seriously, who’s complaining about no new characters in the second half? Nobody.
Oh wait, Stellaron Hunters, fans alert! They’re spicing things up too. Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade get some battle tweaks. And Firefly gets a cool new outfit. Jingliu’s kit enhancement might just lead her down a morally-gray path—love a bit of drama, don’t we?
Mark it down, Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 goes live on July 2nd. (I think?) Second phase hits July 23rd. Don’t miss the live show…I think there’s a replay somewhere below—if cookies aren’t a problem.
A quick flashback to May, the 3.3 update brought Hyacine and Herta back. Then we got Cipher recently…and surprise(?) the voice actors swapped out for the heroes, Stelle and Caelus. Yep, part of some real-world drama with SAG-AFTRA, aka the drama club for voice actors. Unresolved character stories await, like Dan Heng and Himeko. Guess we’ll see what happens next!
