This week, I stumbled upon the latest Nintendo eShop update for Europe. By the way, if you’re like me and get easily distracted by all the shiny new titles, brace yourself. There are fresh games rolling out for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the bazillion deals and discounts. It’s like a giant digital yard sale but, you know, with video games.
So, what’s hitting the Nintendo Switch 2 this week? Well, one standout is the Tamagotchi Plaza Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Remember those little digital pets everyone used to carry around in middle school? They’re back, and apparently, they’ve got a new game dropping this Friday, June 27. Not that I’m nostalgic or anything… okay, maybe a little.
And for those rocking the classic Nintendo Switch, there’s a whole lineup out this week. I mean, it’s almost overwhelming:
- A Bibelot: Y-Break: Sounds tiny and mysterious.
- Against the Storm: Because who wants to go with the storm, right?
- Agarta: No idea what’s up with this one, but it sounds kind of mystical, doesn’t it?
- An Aisling: Which is apparently… a dream? Or maybe it’s about dreams? See, this is why I should pay more attention.
- Anvil Saga: Blacksmiths and chaos, maybe? Or I just like anvils.
- You’ve got old-school nostalgia kicking in with Arcade Archives Crazy Balloon.
- Architect Life: A House Design Simulator: I’ve always thought my cat would make a great architect. Just saying.
And that’s not even scratching the surface. There’s Crayon Dino for those feeling artistic and Jurassic, Dark Dolls if you’re into creepy collectibles, and… wait, Jurassic Island: Little Dinosaur Park Musical AudioBook? Now, that’s a mouthful, but it totally piques my curiosity.
Some other titles to look out for:
- Supermarket Simulator 2025: Can’t decide if this is futuristic grocery shopping.
- Zombie Scream: Clearly for when you need to let out a good yell.
- Sugoi Girls: Dragon Love: Sounds epic, but I’m unsure how dragons factor into love stories. Intrigued, though.
Honestly, I’d keep rambling, but I think you get it. Whether you’re a fan of fast-paced action, cutesy simulations, or mind-boggling puzzles, there’s something here for everyone this week. Dive in, get distracted, and maybe—just maybe—find your next favorite game. Or just let it pile up in your digital backlog like the rest of us do.
